Here is Mary with her puppy as we sat at a coffee shop in Gangnam. All the Koreans LOVED her dog and would all smile (not a common thing for them to do) and point and giggle at it. It was really cute. So I started going to a church called Covenant Church here in Seoul. It's believe it or not a reformed church here in Korea. I really like it. It's really made a difference in my life. One of my new friends, Mary, and I have been in a on and off constant conversation. It's really nice nd refreshing. I've been keeping people out for the last 9 months and I feel like God is moving slowly but surely through this fear-laden, selfish heart of mine. It is nice to know that He is also providing a means to move forward.

Two of my favorite boys- Steve and James. James is one of the funniest students around and Steve's name is pronounced "Steve-uh". And here is a film of my kids saying aanyeonghaseyo ("hi"). THey are such cuties. I love how they don't say it and then when I remind them, they giggle.

So I am back from a little break from the blogging world. I wasn't doing anything too special, just being sick and working. But now Im back (at least for today) to share with you once again some of my students' lovely writing. One of my lowest level classes had to write an in class journal about their favorite person. Two of the girls wrote about me (of course!) and I thought I would share them with you. My favorite person (by Sarah) I like Becka teacher. Becka teacher is pretty. Becka teacher is riBte (rabbit). Becka teacher Iove (I love) you. Becka teacher yott your fiev fiDe ma fiev. (that part I have NO idea what it means, any suggestions?) Note: I was eating a carrot earlier in the day so the kids were calling me rabbit teacher. The first one is funny only because she copied the first few sentences off of the second girl, but then she goes into... well writing in her own special language.
